Odd Nerdrum’s Self Portrait in Golden Robe
When the exhibition of Odd’s self portraits took place at Forum Gallery several years ago, I wound up chatting with one of the gallery assistants. I asked the silly question, “So…is Odd…odd?” The answer, of course, was, “Well, yeah, take a look at his work.” The portrait above was next to me.
This amazing artist was recently sentenced to prison for tax evasion unfortunately. Read about it here.
